Boots hates fireworks.  She also hates gunshots.  Sadly we get pheasant shooters in the fields close to home.   It really does scare her.   Her tail goes down,  she starts to shake and she goes to hide in either the utility room or the en-suite bathroom.   John normally goes with her to keep her comforted.  We take her blankets,  her favourite bear and we’ve also been known to play music for her to listen to try and distract her from hearing the sounds.

As 2021 draws to a close, the Pantone Colour of 2022 has been revealed.  These are the colours that will inspire designers and decor schemes around the world.  
For the first time ever, Pantone decided to create a whole new colour that wasn’t in its existing catalogue of colours. They have named it Very Peri.

Have you ever upset somebody? It is lockdown 3.0 and many of us have been spending a lot more time than usual in our homes. Some of us are loving it, most of us are loathing it.  It's no longer fun.  The sun isn't shining.   It's cold and wet outside.  We don't even have the fun of the snow in Lancaster and Morecambe 

With many of us currently working from home in Lancaster, the team at JDG Estate Agents were chatting about how lucky we are to able to work from our new spacious and rather fancy office.   Before we moved,  some of us had to work from home due to social distancing rules.   But now there is so much space for all of us.  (Plus we all wear face coverings in the office too.)

The first week of a new month is over and as we gradually edge closer to the warmer, lighter months - this is the place you'll find feel good news from around the UK, Lancaster, Morecambe and surrounding areas.

From midnight on the 30th December, Lancashire heads into Tier 4 restrictions. At the time of writing, nobody knows for how long.

Non-essential retail has to close alongside hairdressers, beauticians and gyms. The housing market can, however, remain open. All estate agents must minimise any risk. But what does this mean?
