We all need help from time to time. But how often do we receive it? Virgin / Delta have been great. It's a great service that makes a huge difference. You don't really appreciate it until you need it. For example, the flight from the UK, coffee was served in real mugs, not paper cups. I couldn't decide between popcorn or chocolate for a snack, they gave me both. Little touches really do make a difference! Of course, these were standard to all but still, you don't get it with Easy Jet!
So, missing the flight. The cabin crew told us what to do and where to go. At flight re-booking a friendly face and re-assurance not to worry helped calm me. I wasn't going to end up like Tom Hanks in ......... trapped in an airport for months!
As we stood waiting to board, it made me realise, it’s a bit like completion day for a home mover. We all have planned times we want to move but sometimes through no fault of our own, issues arise where plans and dates get put back and delayed.
It is times like that when you need the helping hand and the experience of a great agent to help you through. You never know at the beginning how much help you'll need.
